The Grande Finale fabric post-operative collar is a professional solution designed to protect veterinary patients after surgical procedures, as well as during the treatment of wounds, skin injuries, and dermatological conditions.

The product was developed as an alternative to traditional plastic collars, which, despite their effectiveness, often cause discomfort to animals and make everyday functioning more difficult during recovery.

The Grande Finale collar is made of durable textile materials and is designed to effectively limit the animal’s access to the surgical site while maintaining a high level of comfort for both the patient and their caregiver.

Designed in cooperation with veterinarians

Grande Finale collars are entirely made in Poland – from design, through construction, to final production.

The structural solutions used in the collar were developed in cooperation with practicing veterinarians who work daily with post-surgical patients.

As a result, the product meets the real needs of veterinary clinics and pet owners caring for animals at home.

Patient comfort during recovery

One of the most important aspects of the collar’s design was reducing the stress that often accompanies animals wearing traditional plastic protection.

The Grande Finale post-operative collar:

• does not interfere with the animal’s hearing

• does not create the “resonance box” effect typical of plastic collars

• is lightweight and comfortable for everyday use

• allows the animal to function more naturally during recovery

Thanks to textile materials, the collar does not amplify surrounding sounds and does not create unpleasant sound reflections, which in plastic collars can additionally stress the patient.

Safe field of vision

The collar’s design balances protection of the surgical site with the animal’s ability to orient itself in its surroundings.

Side vision is partially restricted, which helps better protect specific body areas from access by the mouth. At the same time, the opaque surface eliminates distorted visual images that often occur with semi-transparent plastic collars.

Such distortions can be disorienting and stressful for dogs. With a textile collar, the animal does not perceive these visual distortions, reducing additional stress during recovery.

Comfort for the caregiver as well

Its soft structure means the collar:

• does not scratch furniture or walls

• does not damage home furnishings

• does not damage car interiors during transport

• does not accidentally injure the owner during contact with the animal

Product purpose

The Grande Finale fabric post-operative collar is intended to protect animals after surgical procedures and during treatment of wounds, skin injuries, and dermatological lesions.

It limits licking, biting, and scratching of surgical sites, bandages, and stitches, supporting proper healing.

The collar is intended for dogs, cats, and rabbits.

Important information

A collar must be used for proper operation.

The Grande Finale collar is not designed to be fastened directly around the animal’s neck. Stable attachment is ensured by a standard collar threaded through the internal loops of the protective collar.

Without a collar, the product may shift and reduce its effectiveness.

Collar construction

The collar is made of durable fabric and has a soft protective structure.

On the inner side there are loops through which the animal’s collar should be threaded.

These loops ensure stable positioning and allow adjustment according to neck length.

How to put it on

1. Choose the correct size for the animal.

2. Thread the collar through the loops.

3. Place the collar with the attached collar around the animal’s neck and fasten it normally.

The collar should be stable but must not cause pressure or restrict breathing.

Proper fit

A correctly fitted collar should:

• limit access to the protected area

• not compress the neck

• not restrict breathing

• allow free movement

The textile collar does not interfere with hearing and does not create the resonance box effect typical of plastic collars.

Cleaning and maintenance

The collar can be hand-washed or machine-washed at up to 40°C.

After washing, allow it to air dry naturally.

Do not use bleach or harsh chemicals.

Warning: do not use in case of ophthalmic (eye) conditions.
