The stretcher is particularly useful when:

the animal has already received premedication and is unable to maintain normal muscle tone,

the patient is heavy or uncooperative due to pain,

the animal needs to be transferred between different areas of the clinic,

the patient is taken directly for X-ray examination or to the operating table,

it is important to minimize the number of patient transfers to reduce stress and unnecessary movement.
