Using instruction- brachycefalic muzzle adjustable
Adjustable brachycephalic muzzle has been designed for short-snouted dog breeds and very small breeds that require especially precise fitting of accessories. Thanks to its wide adjustment range, the product can be adapted both for everyday use and for situations requiring increased safety, such as visits to a veterinary clinic.
1. Fitting the muzzle
Before first use, the muzzle should be properly adjusted to the dog’s head.
-
Place the muzzle on the dog’s snout so that it securely covers the mouth.
-
Adjust the straps so the muzzle fits well but does not cause pressure.
-
Make sure the dog can breathe freely and that the muzzle does not restrict natural head movements.
Thanks to its wide adjustment range, the muzzle can also be fitted to very small dogs, including miniature breed puppies.
2. Adjustment depending on use
The muzzle can be adjusted in two configurations:
For everyday use (e.g., during walks):
Set the snout circumference so the dog can breathe freely and pant. This ensures thermal comfort and natural behavior.
For veterinary handling or other difficult situations:
The muzzle can be tightened to increase the level of restraint during examinations or procedures.
3. Getting your dog used to the muzzle
To ensure comfort, it is recommended to gradually acclimate your dog to the muzzle.
-
Let the dog get familiar with the muzzle by sniffing it.
-
Put the muzzle on for short periods of time.
-
Gradually extend the wearing time, rewarding the dog with a calm voice or a treat.
4. Safety guidelines
-
Never leave your dog unattended while wearing a muzzle.
-
Regularly check the fit as well as the condition of the straps and adjustment elements.
-
If any damage is noticed, stop using the product immediately.
5. Cleaning and maintenance
The muzzle can be cleaned with a damp cloth and a mild cleaning agent.
After cleaning, allow it to dry at room temperature.
Do not dry on a radiator or in a dryer.
