Product Purpose

The rehabilitation sling for dogs is designed to assist the movement of animals with limited mobility. The product is intended for dogs after orthopedic surgeries, injuries, during rehabilitation, and for geriatric animals that have difficulty standing up and walking.

The sling is not intended for carrying healthy animals or for long-term transport. Its purpose is to support natural movement and partially relieve weakened limbs during daily activities.

Preparation for Use

  • Before first use, check the condition of the sling and its fastening elements.

  • Adjust the strap length so that the sling stably supports the animal’s torso without putting pressure on the abdomen or chest.

  • The sling should fit snugly against the body but must not restrict breathing or free limb movement.

How to Put On

  • Position the dog in a standing or side-lying position, depending on its mobility.

  • Place the sling under the torso in the area requiring support (most often under the abdomen or near the hind limbs).

  • Hold the handles and gently lift the animal, providing only the amount of support necessary to perform the movement.

Allow the dog to move at a natural pace, avoiding pulling or fully lifting its body weight.

Safe Use Guidelines

  • The sling should assist movement, not completely replace walking.

  • Do not carry the animal over long distances using only the sling.

  • Do not use while running or during sudden movements.

  • If signs of pain, discomfort, or improper body positioning occur, discontinue use.

  • After recent surgeries, use according to the recommendations of a veterinarian or animal physiotherapist.

Duration of Use

The rehabilitation sling should be used during activities requiring additional support, such as standing up, short rehabilitation walks, going outside, or climbing stairs. The duration of use should be adjusted to the animal’s health condition and rehabilitation recommendations.

Care and Product Inspection

  • Regularly check the condition of seams and load-bearing elements.
